Codecraft Works Coding Summer Program

The program looks for students who are interested in a career within the technology sector. The initial program teaches the basics in analytics, earning a google analytics certification and helps students learn to run and create their own websites. The second half of the program allows students to work with a corporate sponsor and monitor their websites to utilize their analytics certifications in the professional market. Students may continue into future segments of the program to help learn more complex computer skills throughout the year. Students (14-21) must be connected with VR to participate.

Location: North and South County Locations

Timeline: Phase One and On The Job Training June – July 2020 (Demo Day will be in July TBD)

Transportation: Not Provided

Stipend: $12.50 per hour for approximately 25 hours per week (paid bi-weekly)

Other Relevant Information: Participants must be referred through the Vocational Rehabilitation. Participants must pass the basic math and interest inventory program. Students who have not had pre-employment training will be required to do so, during the first 5 weeks of the program on Fridays.
